Advantage of HVOF thermal spray used in tungsten carbide coating:

1.         The moderate temperature of flame: (¡Ü3300¡æ)That keeps the original physical and chemical character of materials.

2.         The high speed of spray particle: The speed can get to 800-1200m/s, and the strong wallop can form 70-90Mpa adhering strength between coating and base. The adhering strength between particles is 200Mpa.

3.         With the high speed and great power, the wallop transfer heat, which make the particle gain more energy and melt at once. Then it makes up with the defect, and improves the adhesion strength further.

4.         The great wallop can make the density of coating get to 99.9%, which realize the abrasion resistance and erosion resistance coating.

5.         The HVOF gun, which feed the powder from the gun, can heat the powder in the gun, which makes the particle uniform and hard to mix.

6.         HVOF thermal spray also can improve the stress of coating. The great wallop keeps a state of stress, and reduces the chance of crack.
